Jacobs attended the Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to enroll in acting classes. In the ages of eight, she started studying acting. Mt. Jacobs completed her studies at Lebanon High School in New York, in the year 2000. After that, she relocated into New York City in order to pursue studies in the Juilliard School. The school awarded her a bachelor's degree in 2004 after graduation from Lebanon High School.
